(023) 18 March 1977 Personally, I think the forced interaction with our classmates paid off. Landon Aubrey is clearly my best friend now. In fact, I think I might even love him. Maybe one day we'll be married and have seven babies together! Once again the staff here has shown their OUTSTANDING genius, and I really don't know what we'd do without them.
I hope this counts as my assignment, I'd hate to share the personal details of my future husband. One of the tramps of this school might get ideas.
I already wasted my time spending time WITH him, why should I waste my time writing about him.
Sincerely, The Future Mrs. Aubrey | | Friday, March 7th, 2008 | | 11:44 pm |
(022) 7 March 1977 Apparently there are a lot of females in our school who are in desperate need of a diet.

(021) 29 February 1977 Those little pups almost make me want a pet. Almost. | | Thursday, February 7th, 2008 | | 3:51 pm |
(020) 7 February 1977 The standards in our school keep getting lower and lower. It's a shame. Narcissa, darling, are you feeling any better?

(019) 26 January 1977 If the rumor proves to be true, does that mean we shall be getting a new Head Boy? Personally, my vote is on Lucius, at least he knows how to act with class and dignity. | | Thursday, January 24th, 2008 | | 10:33 am |
(018) 24 January, 1977 Gossip is a funny thing. Last week someone made a rumor that Miss Meadowes was a vampire, and this week? It would seem there's an infestation of vampires. Have any of you listened to the stuff that comes out of the younger year's mouths sometimes? HILARIOUS.
Like the fight between the Black brothers. Apparently the older Black was possessed by the Vampires and couldn't help but attack the younger, as if they have power to do mind control voodoo magic. Vampires don't control minds, they bite you. Suck your blood. Etc.
Still, I should make a habit to listen to the younger years more often, I haven't laughed this hard in ages. | | Wednesday, January 16th, 2008 | | 7:08 pm |
(017) 16 January 1977 It seems to me, if one was betrothed to another person, then they shouldn't be going around shagging other individuals. Just saying.
Still, somethings make for fascinating reads. | | Saturday, December 29th, 2007 | | 12:56 am |

(014) 05 December, 1976 {Warded to Slytherins}
The date auction is Friday. I'm not going to be wordy here, but quick and to the point. We, as a house, need to make certain the blokes on our team get won by birds that are either in this house or have good standing in society. Our blokes should not be subjected to being forced on a date with someone less worthy than that. Also? Let's make certain every Slytherin bloke goes for the full amount we can bet. They are, after all, better than the rest of the school. | | Thursday, November 29th, 2007 | | 7:15 pm |
(013) 29 November, 1976 I'm feeling rather uninspired for the essay on a person, place, or thing and the way it has affected us in three manners. Personally, it seems rather an odd assignment. Assuming we could choose one thing valuable to us, and single it out, ignoring everything else that is of meaning... we're still attaching an awful lot of significance to one person, place, or thing. Which implies that we actually care I'm not so certain it's healthy to have that much significance on any one thing. Nor do I think it's that wise to give such information freely. Knowledge is, after all, power, and for those who wish to harm us, would know exactly how to do so.
That being said, I'm not picking any person, place, or thing that is most valuable or irreplaceable to me. I do not wish to share that information. I will, however, complete the assignment and write how Hogwarts itself as impacted my life in three various ways.
1. Independence. Being away from home for the majority of the year since the age of 11, I have become my own person, one who does not depend on my mother or father for much of anything. 2. Knowledge. Class has helped me cultivate my skills as a witch. 3. Socialising. Yes, a good part of our education here is socialising with our peers. I've made friendships, connections, and so on that will have some effect on my life for years to come. Even after we leave the castle, we are forming connections and networks that will enrich our lives in ways we probably cannot predict.
There. That stupid essay is now complete. | | Monday, November 19th, 2007 | | 10:45 pm |

(011) 16 November, 1976 Why the bloody hell are all the first years more obnoxiously annoying today than usual? Anyone else miffed at their going ons? | | Tuesday, November 13th, 2007 | | 11:17 pm |
(010) 13 November, 1976 I'm bored; someone entertain me. | | Sunday, November 4th, 2007 | | 6:58 am |
(009) 4 September 1976 Our headmaster has clearly gone round the twist. While I've always believed that he was a bit.. off, his little experiment at the Ball only solidified my idea. I think it's about time that our Hogwarts Board of Governors takes a good look at his position within the school and re-evaluate if he is even fit to do the job.
Other than being forced to be the date of some unknown masked man escort (and really, when the spell came down, I didn't care to stick around long enough to find out who the bloke was), I had a lovely time towards the end of the evening. Except for how often Amycus seemed to want to trail his sister and keep an eye one bloody Gideon
{Warded VERY sloppily to Amycus/Easily hacked as Olivia WANTS Alecto to be able to read this} Amycus, darling, I feel that as our date was forcibly cut in half, that, if I should be so bold, I feel we should make it up. Although I realise there isn't much to do around here, I'm certain we could come up with something. | | Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007 | | 8:10 pm |
(008) 23 October 1976 Oink. | | Thursday, October 18th, 2007 | | 3:23 pm |
(007) 18 October 1976 I've been putting off my response to the article for a bit, in efforts to see what others said that sounded good collect my thoughts. Bottom line is, you lot are getting worked up over a SILLY article. Not just that, the article was written FIVE YEARS ago, and is barely in existence, considering the effort it took our Headmaster to find the blasted thing. Seriously? You're going to let a letter written in the OPINIONS section upset you and make you "depressed"?
You really ought to learn how to stand your own ground with conviction and pride without being so damn mopey about it.
That being said, here's what I think. I think the author is correct. Muggleborns should NOT be our Minister of Magic. Let them hold whatever other job they choose so long as they're below me but for our leader? Before you attack me for saying this so outright let's talk about the way MUGGLES do it. A Muggle cannot be born in one country, move to another, and then serve as their leader in that new country. They can only serve as the leader of the country in which they were born in, in which they are a NATURAL CITIZEN of. Even if said person goes through all the hoops to get citizenship to the new country, they're not a natural citizen. Therefore, they are ineligible to serve as the leader for that country.
A Muggleborn witch or wizard is like that. They become a citizen, but they aren't a natural citizen. Let them work in the Ministry. Let them do whatever else. But good Merlin, stop getting your panties in a twist because someone had the gall to say something that should be common sense. Witches and Wizards should be led by someone that grew up in this world, spent their entire life, including the primary years, as a part of this culture. Might not even be a pureblood but a halfblood! We learn so much and are socialised so much as a young child, when our minds are impressionable, that I think the author was on to something. We should be led by someone who has been here from the start. | | Monday, October 15th, 2007 | | 11:20 pm |
(006) 15 October 1976 Narcissa, darling, I hope you've had a great birthday!
( Warded to Amycus ) | | Wednesday, October 10th, 2007 | | 7:39 pm |
(005) 10 September 1976 I cannot sit still. I'm trying, I really am. But.. I can't. Every time I try I have to get up, and I'm so bloody bored I'm not sure what to do. I don't think I've ever felt this... antsy.
Who wants to do something? | | Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007 | | 3:07 pm |
(004) 3 October 1976 Someone, or someones, perhaps, certainly have a death wish. FIX IT. NOW. How am I going to get a date looking like.. like... THIS?! |
